We are seeking a Senior Network Systems Engineer to participate on design teams for computing infrastructure, primarily as a computer network designer or architect in Mount Laurel, New Jersey.
In this role, you will participate in network engineering activities including product selection, design, development, deployment, integration and test.
Note:
Some travel is required to offsite locations including direct waterfront support to surface ships.

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or higher in an Engineering field such as Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent
7+ years experience as a mid-senior network engineer, designing, implementing, deploying and supporting a production networks.
Knowledge and deep understanding of configuring and deploying Cisco IOS network switches and routers including VLANs and routing protocols (including OSPF, EIGRP, and BGP)
Knowledge and deep familiarity of creating ACLs and Firewall Devices (such as Cisco ASA or Palo Alto)
Desired skills
Experience with coding / scripting / automation / orchestration platforms (Perl, Python, Ansible), including interfacing with APIs
Experience configuring Network Monitoring Systems (NMS) to monitor devices using SNMP, ICMP, and other protocols
Network certification such as Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)

Work Schedule Information
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
