Description
Our client is looking to add a Senior UI/Front-End Developer to help support the organization's existing software or systems infrastructure and develop new technologies as needed. Researches, designs and develops enterprise-wide systems and applications. Responsible for identifying and implementing innovative and efficient applications to ensure the best experience for the user. Evaluates current operations to determine areas that need enhancements or restoration.
The Senior Developer supports the organization's existing software or systems infrastructure and develops new technologies as needed. Researches, designs and develops enterprise-wide systems and applications. Responsible for identifying and implementing innovative and efficient applications to ensure the best experience for the user. Evaluates current operations to determine areas that need enhancements or restoration.
This position is a key member of a product delivery team, interacting with Product Owners, Analysts, Developers, QA testers, Architects, Scrum Masters, Vendors, and more. Thus, supporting business applications by designing, implementing and modifying application programs from detailed specifications and ensures that improvements are successfully integrated into the existing systems. Develops program logic for new applications and analyzes logic in existing applications. Develops proof-of-concepts and user interface prototypes. Ensures compatibility of applications across multiple computing platforms and browsers.
The Individual has expanded beyond practical applications of the discipline to knowledge gained from guiding how Allegis should apply the principles and concepts within the discipline and interpreting the complexities of the discipline.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead UI Development: Architect, design, and implement complex, interactive user interfaces primarily using HTML, and modern CSS/SCSS including Lightning Web Components (LWC) .
Design Translation: Collaborate extensively with UX Designers, Developers and Product Owners to ensure the design integrity, usability, responsiveness of all applications.
Modernize Codebase: Drive the adoption of modern frontend practices for component reusability and maintainability.
LWC Data Integration: Develop LWC components to retrieve and manipulate data, utilizing the standard LWC practices, and making simple calls to APEX methods written by themselves or others.
Quality & Performance: Ensure all frontend code is highly performant, well-tested
Problem Solving: Think outside the box to solve ambiguous problems. Don't wait for explicit direction; you are expected to analyze existing challenges, develop proof-of-concepts, and recommend the optimal path forward to the team.

Codes, configures, unit tests, and supports existing and new products within an Agile environment
Evaluates new technologies
Estimates proposed and assigned work
Modernizes and streamlines existing solutions for ease of maintenance and use
Supports analysis, functional testing, and performance testing efforts within and across teams
Resolves system defects and errors
Communicates status, issues, risks, and resolutions to team members and stakeholders
Escalates issues in a timely and appropriate manner for support, approval and/or resolution
Complies with platform code, configuration, and security standards
Performs maintenance and after-hours support activities as needed
Monitors technical performance, troubleshoots, and identifies root causes of defects and issues
Communicates complex ideas and concepts to technical, business, and leadership audiences
Mentors and trains other developers on the team(s)
The required skillsets:
UI-FIRST & Frontend Mastery (The Core Focus):
- 5+ years of experience designing, developing, and deploying web applications.
- Expert-level proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, with experience in building applications using component-based architectures (e.g., React).
- Proven ability to interpret and implement technical requirements from UX/Design documentation (e.g., Figma).
- Experience with frontend build tools, code optimization, performance tuning.
Salesforce & LWC Fundamentals (The Platform Requirement):
- 2+ years of focused, hands-on development experience building and deploying custom components using Lightning Web Components (LWC).
- Basic to working knowledge of the Salesforce platform, including the ability to utilize SOQL within LWC or call basic, existing APEX classes.
- Familiarity with the Salesforce metadata deployment process and tools like Salesforce DX for modern development workflows.
- Familiarity with Salesforce concepts like data modeling, security, and using standard components and the Lightning Design System (SLDS).

- Demonstrated ability to take initiative, work independently, and drive projects forward from ambiguity to something people can work with.
- Verbal and written communication skills, particularly the ability to communicate.

Additional Qualifications:
Experience developing integration solutions using MuleSoft, REST APIs, SOAP APIs, oAuth, Messaging, Single Sign-On, etc.
Experience in agile software development using tracking tools (e.g., Jira, TFS/VSTS or Version1)
Thorough understanding of Salesforce development and deployment processes and tools, including use of source control, Salesforce DX, and other DevOps and automation practices
Proficiency developing front-end web applications utilizing JavaScript and Responsive Design frameworks
Ability to collaborate with User Experience (UX) Designers to implement intuitive web and mobile user interfaces
Ability to work independently to analyze and resolve issues

The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $80.00/hr.
