We are seeking a detail-oriented Wireless QA Tester to conduct end-to-end validation of wireless components for next-generation infotainment systems in Cupertino, CA. This role involves executing a range of test suites, from controlled interference scenarios to regression and field issue recreations, using specialized lab equipment and testing procedures. The ideal candidate will bring a creative approach to testing, strong communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and within a team of engineers.

  • Monitor Wireless Test Infrastructure daily to maximize automation and MTBF rack up-time; promptly file radars for issues.

Nice to Have:

  • Develop Automated Connectivity and Stability Tests on Head Units, scaling from a single system to 10, and track key metrics (connection reliability, drops, connect time) through weekly automated runs.

Must-Have Skills:

  • Strong QA fundamentals and debugging skills, including end-to-end testing experience.
  • Ability to execute documented test suites accurately and thoroughly.
  • Experience with specialized lab equipment (such as Spirent or Keysight) for interference and wireless testing.
  • Excellent communication and time-management skills, with the ability to handle shifting priorities based on urgency and impact.
  • Detailed and clear bug reporting, including all relevant information (logs, timestamps, conditions).

Bonus Skills:

  • Experience in the automotive or infotainment industry.
  • Familiarity with scripting or automation methods for testing.
