Job Description:
- We are seeking an experienced Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) with over 10 years of experience to manage and administer Oracle databases.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating physical database designs, optimizing performance, conducting backup and recovery, and ensuring the efficient operation of Oracle databases in both on-premise and cloud environments.
- This role requires expertise in multi-tenant architecture, RMAN, Dataguard, and performance tuning.
Requirement/Must Have:
- More than 10 years of experience as an Oracle DBA.
- Strong experience with Oracle 12c and 19c using multi-tenant architecture.
- Experience with Oracle 12c RAC and Oracle 19c RAC, including Grid infrastructure/Client.
- Proficiency in RMAN backup and restore procedures.
- Knowledge of Data Encryption using ASO/TDE.
- Experience with Oracle Dataguard (physical/logical configuration and administration).
- Experience in configuring and managing Oracle Enterprise Candidateager (OEM) for alerting and reporting.
- Proficiency in UNIX shell scripting.
- Experience in SQL optimization, tuning, and performance.
- Experience with MS SQL Server installation, configuration, and database management.
- Experience with hosting Oracle databases on public cloud services.
Experience:
- Strong Oracle DBA experience (10+ years) in a variety of Oracle environments, including RAC, Dataguard, and public cloud hosting.
- Experience with Oracle 11g/12c ETL/Data Warehouse.
- Proficient in Oracle database technologies and working knowledge of UNIX operating systems.
- Experience with middleware and gateways, and a working knowledge of distributed data systems.
- Knowledge of data conversion, particularly from DB2 to Oracle.
Responsibilities or Duties:
- XXgn, install, configure, and maintain Oracle databases, including multi-tenant architecture.
- Perform Oracle database optimization, performance tuning, backup, and recovery.
- Implement and manage Oracle Dataguard environments.
- Configure and manage Oracle Enterprise Candidateager (OEM) for alerting and reporting.
- Develop and execute UNIX shell scripts for automation and maintenance tasks.
- Monitor and tune database performance regularly.
- Candidateage incident, change, and configuration management procedures for databases.
- Ensure data encryption and compliance with security standards.
- Provide support for Oracle database hosting on public cloud services.
- Perform migrations and conversions, especially from DB2 to Oracle.
- CollaboXX with cross-functional teams to support database-related applications and services.
Should Have:
- Oracle certification (OCP) is preferred.
- Experience with Oracle Partitioning and Oracle Advanced Compression.
- Experience with Oracle Golden Gate.
- Understanding of Oracle Unified Auditing.
- Familiarity with Oracle Engineered solutions and DB web search services.

Qualification or Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience working with Oracle databases.
- Experience with public cloud hosting and government IT infrastructure policies.
