Dynatrace Administrator Location: Remote
Employment Type: Contract / C2C
Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Dynatrace Administrator to support monitoring, performance optimization, and observability initiatives for applications and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for administering the Dynatrace platform, ensuring system health, proactive issue detection, and actionable insights across cloud, on-prem, and hybrid environments.
Key Responsibilities Administer, configure, and maintain the Dynatrace monitoring platform Deploy and manage Dynatrace OneAgents across servers, containers, and cloud services Configure dashboards, alerts, management zones, and anomaly detection Monitor application performance, infrastructure health, and end-user experience Perform root cause analysis (RCA) using Dynatrace AI (Davis) and provide actionable recommendations Collaborate with application, DevOps, SRE, and infrastructure teams to resolve performance issues Support monitoring for cloud environments (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform) and container platforms (Kubernetes/OpenShift) Integrate Dynatrace with third-party tools (ServiceNow, PagerDuty, Splunk, etc.) Ensure platform security, access controls, and compliance best practices Participate in on-call support and incident response as required Create and maintain documentation, runbooks, and monitoring standards
Required Skills & Qualifications 3+ years of experience administering Dynatrace in enterprise environments Strong understanding of APM, infrastructure monitoring, and observability concepts Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred) Knowledge of Linux/Unix and Windows operating systems Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, and microservices architectures Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices Ability to analyze complex performance issues and communicate findings clearly Strong scripting skills (Shell, PowerShell, Python, or similar)
