Job Title : Nutanix Storage SME
Location : Nashville, TN (Remote during contract)
Duration : 6+ months Contract to Hire

Note : Remote during Contract but to convert to Full time would need to relocate to Nashville, TN

Job Description:

Overview:

We are urgently seeking a highly skilled and hands-on Nutanix Storage SME to join our infrastructure team immediately. This is a mission-critical role focused on supporting and maintaining our on-premises virtualization environment, primarily built on VMware ESXi and Nutanix hyperconverged infrastructure. The current SME has given notice, and we are prioritizing conversations to fast-track the hiring process.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide day-to-day operational support for VMware ESXi and Nutanix environments.
- Manage and troubleshoot Nutanix storage replication technologies including Async DR, Metro Availability, and NearSync.
- Perform system upgrades, patching, and performance tuning.
- Ensure high availability and disaster recovery readiness of virtual infrastructure.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business-critical applications.
- Document procedures and maintain system configuration records.

Required Skills & Experience:

- Proven hands-on experience with VMware ESXi in an enterprise on-prem environment.
- Deep expertise in Nutanix hyperconverged infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of Nutanix storage replication technologies.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex virtualization issues independently.
- Experience with Prism Central and other Nutanix management tools.
- Strong scripting or automation skills are a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:**

- Nutanix Certified Professional (NCP) or VMware Certified Professional (VCP).
- Experience in fast-paced, high-availability environments.
