MUST HAVES: 3+ years of experience Java (any version) - Golang is a plus Self-starter initiative Ability to work independently Plusses: Golang is HUGE plus Specific embedded devices support Microservices Docker/Kubernetes Agile environment (SAFe agile framework) Day to Day: The team is developing containerized micro-services to deploy, configure, host, and manage NCR Self-Service Checkout retail solutions with latest software stack using Golang, Node.js, React, and other cloud technologies. You will work at the direction of an engineering manager and product management with Agile engineering teams to develop robust, performant back-end APIs integrated with front-end User Interfaces that drive the modern self-checkout experience with modern deployment and estate management technologies. Project/projects Japanese product - need to be able to support a specific cash recycler called glory Going to take drivers and make them work with the product and cashiers and running cash operations The component is written in java and the server is written in golang Team breakdown 3 devs - 1 senior dev, 1 mid/sr, 1 mid % breakdown of day to day tasks 90% design, coding, code reviews 10% general training and overhead Education: Bachelors Degree
