Job Description:

Overview: We are in search of a talented Technical Writer with expertise in Azure cloud technologies, C#, SQL, and migration processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in documenting technical procedures, particularly related to Azure cloud migration projects. The Technical Writer will be instrumental in creating comprehensive documentation to guide users through the migration process and ensure successful implementation of Azure solutions.

Responsibilities:

  1. Azure Documentation: Develop detailed documentation for Azure cloud services, focusing on migration strategies, best practices, and deployment procedures. This includes creating guides, tutorials, and FAQs to assist users in understanding and implementing Azure solutions.
  2. C# and SQL Documentation: Produce technical documentation for C# codebases and SQL databases, including data migration scripts, query optimization techniques, and database schema documentation. Collaborate with developers and database administrators to ensure accuracy and completeness of technical content.
  3. Migration Procedures: Document step-by-step migration procedures for migrating on-premises applications and databases to Azure cloud environments. Cover various migration scenarios, such as lift-and-shift, re-platforming, and re-architecting, and provide guidance on selecting the appropriate migration approach.
  4. ADA Compliance: Ensure that documentation meets accessibility standards, including compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Provide guidance on creating accessible documentation formats and assistive technologies for users with disabilities.
  5. Quality Assurance: Review and edit documentation for clarity, accuracy, and consistency. Perform quality assurance checks to ensure that documentation meets industry standards and adheres to organizational style guidelines.
  6. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, system architects, project managers, and technical support staff, to gather information and validate technical content. Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure that documentation reflects current best practices and emerging trends in Azure cloud technology.
