RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client seeking a Business Analyst in Miami, FL.
Overview:
The role requires a strong blend of analytical skills, effective communication, and a deep understanding of both business processes and technology. The Business Analyst is responsible for eliciting detailed requirements, crafting user stories with clear acceptance criteria, and supporting the ongoing refinement and prioritization of the backlog. They facilitate collaboration among cross-functional teams, translate complex business concepts into technical specifications, and ensure that project deliverables are well-understood, achievable, and aligned with sprint goals.
REQUIREMENTS:
* Requires a Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology or any related discipline
* 5+ years of work experience as a Business Analyst in Software Engineering/Information Technology or related area
* Skilled in engaging with customers and empathizing with their needs, consistently placing their wants and requirements at the core of product development; Adept at leveraging information to create tailored guest solutions
* Proficient in utilizing a variety of tools and techniques to ensure product health, reliability, availability, and maintainability
* Experienced with methodologies, tools, and techniques for managing software products throughout all stages of the product lifecycle
* Well-versed in the business aspects and operations of software products, including understanding the install base, current usage, future plans, and overall product vision
* Adept at assisting customers with the installation, integration, and operationalization of software products or systems
* Possesses industry-specific knowledge and experience within the Travel and Hospitality sector
* Familiar with software development lifecycle methodologies, such as Agile and other iterative approaches
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
