Description
We are looking for a talented Social Media Coordinator to join our team on a contract basis in Washington, District of Columbia. In this role, you will play a key part in shaping our organization's online presence and driving engagement across multiple platforms. This position is ideal for a creative and detail-oriented individual passionate about social media strategy, content creation, and analytics.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement engaging social media campaigns that align with organizational goals.
Create high-quality graphics and visuals using tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud, Adobe Illustrator, and Canva.
Monitor and analyze performance metrics across platforms, including Facebook Insights and Google+, to optimize strategies.
Write compelling blog posts and content to enhance brand awareness and audience engagement.
Plan and execute targeted advertisements to reach desired audiences effectively.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all platforms.
Stay updated on social media trends and best practices to maintain a competitive edge.
Manage and grow the organization's online community by fostering meaningful interactions.
Conduct regular audits of social media accounts to ensure accuracy and relevance.
Coordinate the scheduling and posting of content across multiple platforms.
Requirements
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, Adobe Illustrator, and Canva for graphic design.
Experience with social media analytics tools, including Facebook Insights and Google+.
Strong understanding of advertising strategies and campaign planning.
Excellent written communication skills for blogging and content creation.
Ability to analyze data and provide actionable insights to improve performance.
Knowledge of brand development and awareness strategies.
Familiarity with current trends and tools in social media management.
Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
