Title: PeopleSoft HCM Techno-Functional Consultant (Payroll Focus)
Location: Remote
Duration: 6 Months (Contract to Hire)

Job Summary:

As a PeopleSoft HCM Engineer with Payroll Experience, you will be responsible for the design, development, implementation, and support of PeopleSoft HCM applications, specifically focusing on payroll processing and management. You will work closely with HR and IT teams to ensure seamless integration and efficient functionality within the PeopleSoft HCM framework.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain PeopleSoft HCM applications with a focus on payroll functionalities.
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Customize and configure PeopleSoft HCM modules, including payroll, to meet organizational needs.
  • Perform system upgrades, enhancements, and patches to ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate PeopleSoft HCM with other enterprise systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to payroll processing and other HCM components.
  • Conduct unit testing, system testing, and user acceptance testing to ensure quality deliverables.
  • Provide technical support and training to end-users as needed.
  • Stay current with PeopleSoft updates, industry trends, and best practices to continuously improve system functionality.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a PeopleSoft HCM engineer with a strong emphasis on payroll modules.
  • In-depth knowledge of PeopleSoft HCM architecture, data structures, and integration points.
  • Proficiency in PeopleTools, PeopleCode, Application Engine, SQR, and XML Publisher.
  • Solid understanding of payroll processing and related compliance requirements.
  • Experience with PeopleSoft HCM version [insert specific version] or higher.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with SQL, PL/SQL, and database management systems such as Oracle.
  • Familiarity with other PeopleSoft modules such as Time and Labor, Benefits, and Human Resources.
  • Certification in PeopleSoft HCM is a plus.
  • Project management skills and experience leading technical projects.
