Description

SAIC has an immediate opening for a mission-driven candidate to provide systems engineering and integration support to the Technical Director/Chief Architect for one of our customers. This position requires heavy systems engineering support for one of their flagship IT projects. Responsibilities include system/segment requirements documentation (SRDs), crafting interface control documents (ICDs), IV&V support to include Requirements Verification Traceability Matrix (RVTM) development, and crafting use cases and test plans. Additional support involves tracking the customers Accreditation and Authorization (A&A) capabilities, tools and systems, advising on, and facilitating expansion of, technical and programmatic processes, policies and frameworks in support of mission ecosystem and integration efforts. From time to time, the candidate will be asked to coordinate meetings, capture minutes and track actions as necessary.

Qualifications
  • Must currently hold an Active TS/SCI and Poly clearance
  • Bachelor's Degree in a technical field, or experience can be substituted for the degree
  • Minimum of 9 years of relevant experience
  • Expertise as a Systems Engineer
  • Extensive experience as a Systems Integrator
  • Experience with requirements documentation
  • Experience with system verification and validation testing
  • Experience developing and evaluating system/segment level use cases
  • Experience developing and executing RVTMs
  • Ability to assess and review system use cases to include internal and external ICDs/APIs, SLAs and SRDs

Desired:
  • Experience with JIRA, Confluence and MS Project
  • Understanding of data flows, data repositories and data catalogues
  • Data management experience
  • Understanding of the customer's A&A process
  • Experience with AGILE development
  • Experience as a SCRUM Master
