Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Electrical Technician
Location: Lancaster, SC
Type: Contract-to-Hire
Shift: 2nd or 3rd Shift
Overview
Join our team as an Industrial Maintenance Electrical Technician and play a key role in maintaining and troubleshooting electrical and automation systems in a fast-paced industrial environment. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with competitive pay and growth potential.
Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair electrical systems quickly and accurately.
  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot AC/DC motors, drives, VFDs, and soft starters.
  • Perform wiring and conduit installation (EMT, rigid, flexible).
  • Read and interpret schematics and wiring diagrams.
  • Build and maintain control panels (layout, wiring, testing).
  • Troubleshoot PLCs (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Omron) and replace modules.
  • Navigate HMI panels for diagnostics and alarms.
  • Maintain sensors, actuators, and industrial networking (Ethernet/IP, Modbus, Profibus).
  • Conduct preventive and predictive maintenance using thermal imaging and vibration monitoring.
  • Apply Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for recurring issues.
  • Follow all safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO).
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of industrial electrical maintenance experience.
  • Strong knowledge of NEC, OSHA, and facility-specific electrical codes.
  • Familiarity with PLCs, HMIs, and industrial networking.
  • Ability to read schematics and troubleshoot control systems.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and time management skills.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience in manufacturing or heavy industrial environments.
  • Knowledge of RCM methodology and predictive maintenance tools.
