RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce's client, a well-established communications technology company, is seeking a Senior Director of Engineering to lead a growing line of business. This role requires expertise in technology development, manufacturing operations, and customer engagement. The Senior Director of Engineering will drive business transformation, ensure efficient operations, and support growth initiatives while meeting near-term program commitments. This is an exciting opportunity to transform a key business unit, drive growth, and make a lasting impact on mission-critical aerospace and defense technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
* Build and develop a high-performing, cross-functional team
* Lead and own the P&L
* Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve growth and operational goals
* Oversee product lifecycle management, from R&D to production and field support
* Drive efficiency through process improvements and cross-functional collaboration
* Support sales and bid opportunities in partnership with the Growth team
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field of study
* 10+ years of experience in R&D and production of MMICs, MCMs, and tuners for aerospace or defense
* Expertise in product development, lifecycle management, and manufacturing
* Strong program management skills, including quality control and process implementation
* Ability to lead technical teams, drive innovation, and work with senior government and industry stakeholders
* Experience leading P&L organizations, delivering revenue, EBITDA, and cash targets
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
