We are seeking a skilled Techno/Functional Workday Adaptive Consultant to support our client in completing the hypercare phase of their recent Workday Adaptive Planning implementation. The client's fiscal year begins July 1, and they are facing challenges reconciling their reporting numbers in Workday Adaptive with longstanding Excel-based reports. Your expertise will be critical to ensuring accurate financial reporting and streamlining their Workday Adaptive Planning processes.

We are seeking a skilled Techno/Functional Workday Adaptive Consultant to support our client in completing the hypercare phase of their recent Workday Adaptive Planning implementation. The client's fiscal year begins July 1, and they are facing challenges reconciling their reporting numbers in Workday Adaptive with longstanding Excel-based reports. Your expertise will be critical to ensuring accurate financial reporting and streamlining their Workday Adaptive Planning processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and troubleshoot discrepancies in financial reporting between Workday Adaptive Planning and the client's Excel-based legacy reporting system.
- Guide the client through the hypercare phase, addressing pain points and identifying root causes for reporting mismatches.
- Provide technical expertise in configuring Workday Adaptive Planning to align with the client's reporting requirements and fiscal year structure.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including finance and IT teams, to gather requirements, validate data, and implement solutions.
- Support financial reporting reconciliation, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of data.
- Conduct system testing, data validation, and error resolution to enhance accuracy and usability.
- Train end users and provide ongoing functional and technical support to promote adoption and proficiency.
- Recommend process improvements and system enhancements to optimize the client's utilization of Workday Adaptive Planning.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Workday Adaptive Planning Consultant (minimum of 2-5 years).
- Strong functional and technical expertise in Workday Adaptive Planning, including implementation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Experience in financial reporting and reconciliation, especially within the context of transitioning from legacy systems (e.g., Excel).
- Solid understanding of planning, budgeting, and forecasting in a variety of business contexts.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address system and data discrepancies.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to translate technical solutions into clear action plans for non-technical stakeholders.
- Self-starter capable of working independently in a remote environment.
- Availability to start immediately and commit to a 6-month contract period.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting organizations through hypercare phases post-implementation.
- Knowledge of financial reporting standards specific to July 1 fiscal year start.
- Consulting experience within diverse industry sectors and organizational sizes.
