Summary

Akkodis is seeking a System Administrator for a contract with a client in Plano, TX. will be responsible for managing service operations, generating reports, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure service continuity and improvement.

Rate Range: $47/hour to 49/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

System Administrator job responsibilities include:

Monitor and maintain system performance by ensuring uptime, reliability, and optimal functioning of servers and network infrastructure.
Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls across systems to maintain security and compliance.
Perform regular system updates, patches, and backups to safeguard data and ensure system integrity.
Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues and provide timely resolution to minimize downtime.
Implement and enforce IT policies and procedures, including security protocols and disaster recovery plans.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support infrastructure needs and assist in system upgrades or migrations.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
5-6 years of hands-on experience in system administration and IT infrastructure support.
Proven expertise in managing Windows, Unix, and network environments with strong troubleshooting skills.
ITIL Foundation certification and experience in incident, change, and problem management processes.

Pay Details: $47.00 to $49.00 per hour
