Job Description:

We are seeking a Zuora RevPro Techno-Functional Expert to lead and support end-to-end
implementations, integrations, and enhancements of Zuora RevPro revenue automation
systems. The ideal candidate will combine strong functional expertise in ASC 606 revenue
recognition with solid technical experience in configuring, integrating, and maintaining
RevPro solutions. This role bridges the gap between Finance/Accounting teams and Technical
delivery, ensuring the system aligns with complex business processes and compliance
requirements.

Key Responsibilities: Requirements Gathering and Analysis
Collaborate with business stakeholders (Finance, Revenue Accounting, IT) to
understand and document current-state revenue processes and future-state
requirements.
Conduct detailed analysis of business needs across revenue streams such as SaaS,
subscriptions, and hardware.
Translate business requirements into clear functional and technical specifications for
Zuora RevPro.

RevPro Configuration and Customization
Configure Zuora RevPro to automate revenue recognition under ASC 606.
Set up policies, event triggers, performance obligations, and contract modifications.
Define revenue templates, allocation rules, and SSP hierarchies to support multi-element
arrangements.
Maintain master data configurations for customers, contracts, and performance
obligations.

Integration Development and Management
Design, develop, and manage integrations between Zuora RevPro, Zuora Billing, ERP
systems (e.g., NetSuite, Oracle, SAP), and reporting tools.
Utilize Zuora APIs, REST/SOAP web services, and data loaders for integration and
automation.
Collaborate with IT and development teams to ensure data flow accuracy, reconciliation,
and performance.

Reporting and Data Analysis
Develop and maintain RevPro reports and dashboards for revenue forecasting,
reconciliations, and disclosures.
Build ad hoc queries for Finance and Audit teams to ensure transparency and
compliance.
Support audit processes by providing detailed data extracts and system documentation.

Data Migration and Validation
Lead data migration activities from legacy systems into Zuora RevPro.
Design and execute data validation, transformation, and reconciliation strategies to
ensure accuracy.
Troubleshoot data discrepancies across integrated systems.

Testing and Quality Assurance
Develop comprehensive test plans including unit, integration, regression, and UAT
cycles.
Coordinate defect tracking and resolution with development and QA teams.
Ensure system performance meets financial close timelines and audit standards.

Post-Production Support and Enhancements
Provide ongoing production support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution for RevPro
modules.
Support bi-annual Zuora releases by evaluating new features, performing regression
testing, and recommending improvements.
Identify process optimization opportunities and implement continuous improvements.

Documentation and Knowledge Transfer
Develop and maintain business requirement documents, functional design documents,
test scripts, and training materials.
Conduct workshops and training sessions for Finance, IT, and Revenue teams.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Education:
Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a
related discipline (Master s preferred).

Experience:
5+ years of combined techno-functional experience in revenue systems with at least
2+ full-cycle Zuora RevPro implementations.
Hands-on expertise in configuring Zuora RevPro modules for ASC 606 compliance.
Proven experience integrating Zuora RevPro with Zuora Billing, ERP systems (e.g.,
Oracle, SAP, NetSuite), and reporting tools.
Strong understanding of subscription billing models and revenue recognition
principles.
Familiarity with data migration, reconciliation, and system cutover activities.
Technical Competencies
Proficiency with Zuora REST/SOAP APIs, SQL, and data extraction/transformation
tools.
Solid understanding of data models, revenue event processing, and performance
obligation tracking in RevPro.
Experience with workflow automation, report customization, and data validation
scripts.
Knowledge of web services (REST, SOAP), JSON, XML, and Excel-based data
templates.
Familiarity with issue tracking and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow,
Confluence).

Preferred Qualifications:
Zuora Certified RevPro Expert certification.
Experience with Revenue forecasting and disclosure reporting automation.
Exposure to Finance transformation or Subscription lifecycle management
projects.
Experience working with distributed global teams.
