Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Implementation Analyst with over 8 years of relevant experience to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in business analysis, technical documentation, and SQL proficiency. While knowledge of CRIMS or post-trade workflows is beneficial, it is not essential. This role involves managing technical tasks, understanding business functions, and supporting various investment management and private market activities.
Key Responsibilities
Identify, review, and implement control checks to enhance process efficiency and accuracy across various practice areas.
Conduct comprehensive testing and validation of control checks to ensure alignment with business requirements and technical specifications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into effective control measures.
Maintain detailed documentation of control check processes, outcomes, and improvements.
Conduct thorough business analysis to support project requirements.
Familiarity with CRIMS or post-trade workflows is advantageous.
Identify opportunities for process enhancements and lead initiatives to optimize control checks.
Provide technical support and guidance to ensure successful implementation and operation of control checks.
Proficient in SQL for data analysis and manipulation, deployment using GitHub or other source control, and building environments.
Design and implement robust CI/CD pipelines to automate code integration, testing, and deployment for efficient and reliable software delivery.
Strong knowledge of UNIX systems for effective management, scripting, and troubleshooting in a software development environment.
Proficient in using JIRA and Confluence for efficient project management, collaboration, and documentation.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration and documentation.
Basic understanding of capital markets, including trade, corporate actions, and post-trade activities.
Experience in Investment Management and Private Markets, covering Portfolio Management, Trading and OEMS, Middle Office, Compliance, Asset and Valuation Management, and Deal Management.
Candidates should be proactive, flexible, and able to take ownership.
Relevant experience in business analysis, technical documentation, or a related field.
Experience in testing various financial and accounting applications throughout all stages of the trading life cycle, from trade initiation to execution and settlement/record-keeping.
Skilled in designing and implementing ETL processes for efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading across various data sources.
Proficiency in data management and analysis tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
A bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred.
Experience using source control systems to check-in/check-out configuration artifacts
Required Skills
Strong expertise in investment banking, capital markets - Front, Middle and Back office operations
Strong business analysis and problem-solving abilities
Good to have Knowledge in snowflake
Good knowledge in SQL to perform the work for BA
