The ideal candidate will focus on analyzing data across a broad range of asset classes and contribute to building scalable data solutions using diverse data sources.
Key Responsibilities
Data Analysis and Management
- Analyze and interpret complex data sets related to asset management.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive data mapping and validation documents.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and define data analysis needs.
- Provide actionable insights and subject matter expertise based on data analysis.
- Ensure data quality, accuracy, and integrity across all datasets.
Domain Expertise
- Provide thought leadership within the financial services data space, focusing on multiple asset classes.
- Collaborate with team members to design and implement data solutions supporting business goals and outcomes.
- Contribute to the creation of user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Develop and execute effective testing strategies and plans.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience as a Data Analyst within Asset Management (required).
- Experience with distribution data (preferred).
- Strong understanding of data across various asset classes.
- Hands-on SQL skills with solid knowledge of data pipelines and transformations.
- Familiarity with tools such as Aladdin, Bloomberg, FactSet, or similar systems.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working in an agile development environment.
