Overview

Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) NonStop System Administration for Debit card processing environment, supporting active/active processing across multiple NonStop Nodes. To research, evaluate, design, implement, and maintain system and product solutions, applying knowledge of engineering principles. To provide technical direction and engineering support for projects and infrastructure. Develop and maintain advanced functional knowledge of evolving IT engineering industry technologies/competition, concepts, and trends.

Responsibilities
  • HPE Nonstop System Administration and Support
  • FIS Connex ATM/DEBIT Card System Processing performance management
  • After Hours On-call support for HPE Nonstop Systems and Applications
  • Nonstop File System configuration and management to support application processing
  • Nonstop Systems Performance Analysis
  • Full life-cycle project management
    • Establish and lead project teams
    • Develop project plan/scope/schedule/cost/communications
    • Procure and/or manage resources/timelines/deadlines/quality
    • Risk, Issue and Change management
    • Ensure successful project implementation
    • Scope of responsibility - Considerable scope
  • Lead, guide, and mentor less experienced staff
  • Provide input and make budgetary recommendations regarding staffing and equipment
  • Apply engineering principles into the design and enhancement of new and existing systems
  • Document new system components, or modifications to existing components
  • Ensure the security and integrity of system and product solutions including compliance with Navy Federal, industry engineering and Information Security principles and practices
  • Perform engineering tasks and assignments in support of business needs
  • Perform engineering technology research, procurement, deployment, and configuration for new and modified systems
  • Provide technical leadership in the architecture discipline and development of information technology solutions
  • Present clear, organized, and concise information to all audiences through a variety of media to enable effective business decisions
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or the equivalent combination of training, education, and experience
  • Significant experience with HPE NonStop Administration & Configuration
  • HPE NonStop L-Series Kernel configuration experience
  • NonStop X Systems configuration & management experience
  • CLIM Configuration & management
  • HPE NonStop BackBox with Integrated QoreStor
  • Host Based Security Module experience
  • Utimaco (Atalla) AT1000 HSM software & hardware experience
  • Utimaco ESKM configuration and management
  • NTI DRNet Data replication Software experience
  • IR Prognosis for Nonstop system monitoring and management software experience
  • XYPRO security solutions
  • ATM & Debit Card Processing Systems experience
  • Knowledge of Payment Card Industry Standards (PCI-DSS.)

Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 4:30PM (After Hours On-call support hosting ATM, Visa support 24/7, roster rotation, primary and secondary weekly rotation)
