; Position Summary
The IT Network Engineer II is responsible for contributing to the design, deployment, and optimization of automated network solutions to enhance performance, scalability, and efficiency. This role will focus on zero-touch deployment, network automation, and the development of analytical dashboards using platforms such as SolarWinds, ServiceNow, and Splunk to monitor network health, traffic patterns, and system vulnerabilities.

; Key Responsibilities
Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Network Automation and Analytics.Design and implement automated network deployment solutions using tools such as Ansible, Python, Itential, Terraform, and various APIs.Create and maintain network performance dashboards leveraging SolarWinds, Splunk, ServiceNow, and other observability tools.Identify and prioritize automation use-cases that align with business objectives and improve operational efficiency.Collaborate with global, cross-functional teams to enhance network security, improve reliability, and drive standardization through automation.Lead or support the creation of CI/CD pipelines for automated network configuration and updates.Provide technical escalation support and mentorship to other engineers.Ensure automation adheres to industry best practices, including rigorous testing, validation, and documentation.Maintain up-to-date knowledge on emerging network technologies and automation trends.

; Education Requirements
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (preferred)Associate degree or equivalent technical certification (minimum required)

; Required Experience
7+ years of experience implementing, supporting, and troubleshooting enterprise network environments.4+ years developing and deploying network automation solutions at scale.

; Required Skills
Strong understanding of network protocols and concepts: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, etc.Proficiency in configuring and managing routers, switches, wireless, and other network infrastructure.Hands-on experience with network scripting and automation (e.g., Ansible, Python, Terraform).Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Splunk, SolarWinds, Datadog, Dynatrace).Capable of writing and maintaining runbooks, system lifecycle documentation, and training materials.Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.Ability to work independently and lead projects across global teams and time zones.

; Desired Skills
Familiarity with network platforms from Cisco, Juniper, Arista, Meraki, Zscaler, Infoblox, and VeloCloud SD-WAN.Experience using automation tools like Itential, Python scripting, and Ansible playbooks.Exposure to network security tools and practices, such as NAC (Network Access Control).Experience with ServiceNow for workflow automation.Industry certifications such as CCNA, Network+, or equivalent are a plus.
