Location: Tulsa, OK

Description:
We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join our client's Information Technology team. The successful candidate will perform solution development and delivery working both independently and as part of a team. This position will develop ETL s, Reports, and data pull requests using tools like Informatica, Tableau, SQL Server, and Snowflake environments.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Analyze business requirements and legacy reports to drive new development utilizing 3rd party development tools, SSIS, and SQL Server.
  • Interface and communicate with business customers and team leads for scope, estimates, requirements, and project deliverables.
  • Interface with the various information technology groups, as needed, for source-to-target mappings and reporting interfaces.
  • Work with DBA's, as needed, to manage schema changes.
  • Create and maintain production support documentation.
  • Use project management and systems development life cycle methodologies to achieve on time results.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation to provide system support outside of normal working hours.

Job Requirements:

  • Candidate must have a bachelor s degree in an IT related discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Generally, 6+ years of experience in complete data warehouse lifecycle development process.
  • Experience with data migration initiatives and data warehouse concepts (cubes, star schemas, etc.), experience with front-end web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript), SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, Informatica, Tableau, Power BI, Cognos, and other cloud technologies.
  • Solid analytical skills and ability to examine requirements, re-engineer existing processes, envision new concepts and deliver complete reporting solutions.
  • Hands-on experience with a modern reporting tool such as Tableau or Power BI working with a backend Microsoft SQL Server (T-SQL) development and/or Snowflake or other cloud solutions.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem resolution skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment and knowledge of Azure DevOps is preferred.
