Job Title :: Mainframe Developer
Location :: 100% Remote, USA
Duration :: 12+ Months Contract
Focus on Systematics- ALS, LPS, it's a Core Banking
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Mainframe Developer to support critical projects within Core Banking Engineering Services. The role will involve delivering system updates, testing, and production implementation, with a focus on mainframe high availability, IBM On Demand, custom statement formatting applications, and core banking system enhancements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Mainframe High Availability: Support ATM systems, FIS Connex, and CICS.
- Core Banking Services: Work on FIS Systematics Architecture, ALS, LPS, ST, and IMPACS backlogs.
- Implementation & Testing: Configure system requirements, develop custom code, conduct functional/unit testing, and manage data migration with Azure Data Factory.
- UAT & Knowledge Transfer: Develop testing scripts, manage defect lists, and ensure knowledge transfer.
Required Skills:
- Expertise in COBOL, JCL, DB2, and mainframe tools.
- Strong understanding of FIS Systematics Architecture and related systems (ALS, LPS, ST).
- Proficiency in data migration and API integration.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
