Senior Golang Developer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a remote Senior Golang Developer to join their team.

Summary:
This individual will be supporting a platform where all engineers deploy their code that runs inside the client's business. They will be rebuilding and enhancing Golang based microservices and managing a Kubernetes cluster, housed in Google Cloud Platform. Involvement in the role includes an aspect of SRE/DevOps, due to managing cloud instance from a metrics standpoint. Overall, the team needs a strong Go/Cloud engineer that is able to work in a fast-paced environment and at scale.

* RESTful API design and implementation
* Error Handling and Logging
* Unit, Smoke, Mock, and Integration testing
* Git and GitHub
* Infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible)
* Code Linters
* CI/CD
* SQL and NoSQL Databases
* Streaming data processing
* Metrics, Tracing, and Monitoring with tools like Prometheus and OpenTelemetry

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
