Our healthcare client located in Boston MA is seeking an experienced Software Developer Consultant specializing in the Huron Research Suite application portfolio. This is a senior-level developer who performs advanced system analysis, programming, testing, and deployment for complex applications. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and enhance applications within the Huron Research Suite, ensuring alignment with the hospital's research goals and regulatory requirements.
- Integrate the Huron modules with other hospital systems and provide ongoing support and troubleshooting to ensure seamless operations.
- Identify opportunities for optimization within existing Huron applications and implement enhancements to improve performance and user experience.
- Document integration-related batch processes and data flows.
- Identify integration/reporting pain points (e.g., reporting limitations) for root cause analysis.
- Deliver sprint-based documentation in iterative cycles with stakeholder reviews.
- Interview Research Administration/finance staff to clarify integration and reporting needs.
- Contribute to future-state roadmap, focusing on integration and reporting modernization.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years in Research Business Applications within healthcare or academic research.
- Strong background in ERA platforms (Huron preferred), PeopleSoft, Workday ERP and Epic.
- Analytical skills to collect information from diverse sources, apply professional principles in performing various analyses, and summarize the information and data in order to solve problems.
- Ability to manage projects in a self-starting, nearly autonomous fashion.
- Ability to work well on a team, communicating effectively and supporting team members as needed.
