Position: Partner Certified Workday Payroll Consultant
Location: remote

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Partner Certified Workday Payroll Consultant to join our Workday Practice.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading and implementing Workday Payroll solutions for our clients.
You will work with cross-functional teams and client stakeholders to ensure seamless configuration, testing, and deployment of Workday Payroll functionalities.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead or support the end-to-end implementation of Workday Payroll modules.
Conduct requirement gathering workshops and translate client needs into system design and configuration.
Configure Workday Payroll modules including earnings, deductions, tax, costing, and period schedules.
Support integration with third-party systems including time tracking, accounting, and benefits systems.
Perform payroll parallel testing, validation, reconciliation, and post-go-live support.
Collaborate with clients to optimize business processes and payroll operations within Workday.
Provide production support and enhancements for existing Workday Payroll clients.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Workday releases and payroll regulations.
Document design specifications, test cases, and user guides.
Act as a subject matter expert (SME) in Workday Payroll functionality and best practices.

Required Qualifications:

Workday Payroll Partner Certification (Mandatory)
3+ years of hands-on experience in Workday Payroll implementation or support.
Deep understanding of US Payroll processing, tax regulations, wage garnishments, and payroll compliance.
Proven experience with Workday Payroll configuration, testing, and troubleshooting.
Experience working with payroll integrations (e.g., ADP, Kronos, external banks).
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and clients.

Preferred Qualifications:

Workday Time Tracking or HCM certification (a plus)
Experience with EIBs, Core Connectors, and Studio Integrations
Experience in multi-state payroll implementations
Prior experience with a Workday Certified Partner or Big 4 consulting firm
