Job Title: Fraud Operations Specialist
Duration: 6+ Months Contract
Location: Onsite - St. Petersburg, Florida 
 
Job Description:
 
We are looking for two strategic and hands-on Fraud Operations Specialists to work on-site at our St. Petersburg, FL office. The resource will be responsible for conducting a comprehensive review of our current fraud operations, designing and implementing process improvements, and developing a robust training and talent management framework. This role is ideal for a proactive problem-solver with deep expertise in fraud analytics and operations who can drive change and deliver measurable results.
Scope of Work & Key Deliverables The consultants provided will be expected to accomplish the following phases of work:
Phase 1: Process Review and Optimization
· Conduct a comprehensive review of existing fraud operations processes.
· Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and potential improvement areas.
· Develop detailed recommendations for streamlining processes.
· Create a high-level plan for process improvement.
· Develop metrics and KPI tracking mechanisms.
o Deliverable: Comprehensive review report with recommendations and KPI framework.
Phase 2: Project Rollout and Implementation Planning
· Collaborate with our internal team to develop a prioritized implementation roadmap based on the expected benefit/impact of opportunities identified in Phase 1.
· Develop detailed implementation plans for each high-priority opportunity.
o Deliverable: Prioritized roadmap and detailed implementation plans.
Phase 3: Education, Training, and Talent Management
· Assess current training programs and identify knowledge gaps.
· Design and develop a comprehensive training curriculum.
· Conduct a skills gap analysis for the current team.
· Develop talent development strategies.
· Design performance evaluation criteria specific to fraud analytics and operations.
o Deliverable: Comprehensive training curriculum, skills gap analysis report, and talent development strategy document.
Qualifications and Experience:
· 5+ years of experience in fraud operations, fraud analytics, or a related field, with a proven track record of process improvement.
· Prior experience in a consulting or internal project-based role is highly desirable.
· Demonstrated expertise in mapping processes, identifying inefficiencies, and designing optimized workflows.
· Strong experience in developing and implementing KPIs and performance metrics.
· Proven ability to design and deliver effective training programs and conduct skills assessments.
· Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and root-cause analysis skills.
· Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
· Self-motivated, able to work independently, and manage a project from discovery to implementation.
Team Profiles
· Profiles must clearly demonstrate relevant experience in fraud operations, process optimization, and training/ talent strategy development.
· Include a description of each consultant's role and responsibilities on this project.
Logistics:
· This is a full-time, on-site contract position for a duration of 3-6 months.
· Candidates must be located in or willing to relocate to the St. Petersburg, Florida area for the contract duration.
· All work will be performed at the client's office location.
