Job Description:
The Office of State Human Resources (OSHR), Temporary Solutions Division, is seeking an experienced MS SharePoint Online Developer who has the necessary skills to rewrite existing PowerApps and PowerAutomate applications built on the State s shared government cloud Microsoft SharePoint Enterprise server. These applications utilize Cognito forms or PowerApps as the front end, SharePoint lists for data storage, and PowerAutomate for business workflow. The candidate will work closely with Temporary Solutions business users and a SharePoint Architect, under the direction of a Project Manager, to gather business requirements, design and develop the new applications, and migrate data from existing applications as necessary. This position should have experience with PowerAutomate and with developing PowerApps and publishing reports in Power BI. This position should also have experience working with 3rd party forms/connectors to collect data and store the data in SharePoint, when authentication to SharePoint is not required. The candidate should have extensive experience with Power Automate (Flow), to automate processes and drive efficiencies, ensuring system integration and data integrity across the various business functions within Temporary Solutions. This position will also identify new areas and business processes where PowerApps/SharePoint can be leveraged and facilitate continual process improvement. This position will collaborate with OSHR s data team to align on reporting and data analytics currently being developed in either Power BI or Tableau, and will assist with securely publishing the dashboards and setting up the proper user permissions. setup.   • 5 years - Experience developing and supporting SharePoint Applications.
  • Solid understanding of SharePoint architecture.
  • SharePoint Online Site Administration including building sites and pages, modifying and deleting sites, managing SharePoint Permissions (Site Permissions, User groups, Document Library/List Permissions, Break Inheritance)
  • Knowledge of managing SharePoint Lists and document Libraries (Filter & Sorting, Custom Views)
  • Use of MS Forms or 3rd party forms for data collection
  • Experience with configuring and implementing Power Automate (Flow)
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical as well as non-technical staff.
  • Ability to learn and understand new technologies associated with SharePoint and O365 products.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Sound understanding of PowerApps formulas and development methods.
