Job Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Finance Data Migration and Reporting
Consultant to support large-scale Oracle Fusion Cloud implementation projects. This is
a contract-based, remote position focused on Oracle Fusion Financials, where you will
lead the migration of financial data and develop robust financial reporting solutions. The
ideal candidate has 12+ years of progressive experience in Oracle Fusion
applications, deep expertise in Oracle EPM (Enterprise Performance Management)
financial reporting, and strong functional knowledge of Oracle Fusion finance modules
(Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, General Ledger). You should
be self-motivated and able to work independently while coordinating effectively with
global teams, and possess excellent communication and documentation skills.
Key Responsibilities
Data Migration Strategy & Execution: Design and implement finance data
migration and transformation strategies for Oracle Fusion Cloud projects. Lead
end-to-end data conversion efforts including data mapping, cleansing,
transformation, and validation to accurately migrate financial data from legacy
systems into Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials.
Financial Reporting Development: Develop and deliver custom financial
reports and dashboards to meet business and regulatory requirements. Leverage
Oracle reporting tools (OTBI, BI Publisher) and Oracle EPM reporting tools
(Smart View, Financial Reporting Studio) to create insightful management
reports, financial statements, and ad-hoc analyses.
Oracle Fusion Functional Expertise: Serve as a functional expert in Oracle
Fusion Financials modules (AP, AR, FA, GL). Work closely with finance teams to
ensure that system configurations and business processes in these modules
align with data migration requirements and reporting outputs. Provide guidance
on module functionality and best practices to optimize finance operations post-
migration.
Oracle EPM Integration: Utilize deep Oracle EPM financial reporting expertise
to integrate and reconcile data between Oracle Fusion ERP and Oracle EPM
systems. Ensure consistency and accuracy of financial data across ERP and
EPM platforms, enabling consolidated reporting and analysis (e.g. for financial
close or planning processes).

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams
including Finance, IT, and Oracle Cloud technical consultants to coordinate
migration activities and report development. Work across global teams and time
zones to gather requirements, resolve data issues, and ensure a smooth
implementation of finance data migration and reporting solutions.
Testing & Data Validation: Develop testing plans and conduct thorough
validation of migrated data and new reports. Support and coordinate user
acceptance testing (UAT) for finance data conversion and reporting, ensuring
that all outputs are accurate, complete, and satisfy business requirements.
Proactively identify and resolve any discrepancies or issues in data and reports.
Documentation & Training: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation
for all data migration processes, data mapping specifications, transformation
rules, and report designs. Prepare clear user guides or runbooks for financial
reporting tools and migrated data. Provide training or knowledge transfer to client
stakeholders and end-users to facilitate smooth adoption of the new system and
reports.
