Compensation: $80000 - $120000 annually
Contractor Work Model: Onsite
15-20% bonus incentive
Work hours: 6a-230p with OT mandatory as necessary

Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and results-driven Operations Manager to manage the day-to-day operations. The ideal person will be responsible for ensuring operational efficiency, improving performance, and driving strategic initiatives. This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, direct, and coordinate daily operations to meet business goals
• Monitor and manage budgets, forecasts, and performance metrics
• Analyze workflow, identify areas for process improvement, and implement operational strategies
• Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements
• Lead, train, and supervise operational staff to ensure a productive and motivated team.
• Work closely with engineering and quality teams to resolve technical issues, improve processes and keep overtime to a minimum
• Implement and monitor lean manufacturing processes and continuous improvement initiatives
• Prepare and present reports on operational performance, KPIs, and other metrics to senior management
• Address and resolve other operational challenges promptly

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Operations Management OR current experience (minimum 3 years) in operations management.
• Current to date leadership role that is managing a team of direct reports (more than 3).
• Strong knowledge of machining processes, CNC operations, and blueprint reading
• Strong knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management
• Preferred previous ISO/FDA experience (including audits)
• Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making skills
• Proficiency in data analysis, reporting tools, and project management software
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to a fast-paced environment

Preferred Skills:

• Preferred certification with Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies
• Familiarity with ERP systems
• Strong with Microsoft Programs (Outlook, Word, Excel including pivot tables, etc.)
• Strong financial acumen and budgeting experience

Working Conditions:

• Some travel may be required (roughly 5%)
• Manufacturing facility with exposure to machine noise, lubricants and shop floor conditions
• Ability to walk, stand, occasionally lift 75 pounds, and moving heavier carts
