Chelan County PUD is preparing for a major transition from our PeopleSoft ERP system to a modern, cloud-based ERP platform. This role is critical to maintaining stability in our current-state systems while contributing strategic leadership to future-state planning and implementation.

Please highlight:

  • Your experience supporting and optimizing ERP platforms such as PeopleSoft, SAP S/4HANA, Oracle Fusion/HCM, or Workday particularly within public sector or regulated environments.
  • Your involvement in full lifecycle ERP transformations, including strategy development, vendor evaluation and selection, implementation, and post-go-live optimization.
  • Your expertise in fit-gap analysis, business process redesign, change management, and hybrid/cloud ERP architecture planning.
  • How you have helped bridge legacy and next-generation systems to ensure both operational continuity and successful enterprise transformation.

SALARY RANGE

The starting salary range for Enterprise Application Analyst I is $72,960 - $91,200 (based on qualifications). With tenure and strong performance in this role an employee may earn up to a maximum of $109,440, annualized.

Introductory Period: New employees holding regular positions must complete an introductory period of twelve months.

Enterprise Application Analyst I

Overview The Enterprise Application Analyst I is responsible for the support, operation, and maintenance of the District's Enterprise Applications: including but not limited to: PeopleSoft Human Resources and Finance, Maximo, Primavera, C2M (Customer to Meter) and Itron AMI (Advanced Metering Infrastructure). Customizes and configures workflow to allow the integration of client/server applications. Tests application layout to ensure the system is meeting corporate needs. Plays an integral role in the learning, training, and implementation of the District's enterprise applications.
Responsibilities

  • Enterprise Business Systems Support: Configure and operate on-premises Enterprise Business Systems. Provide technical support for enterprise applications and software issues. Respond immediately to security, usability concerns and resolve service desk requests.
  • Enterprise Business Systems Analysis: Perform systems analysis and modify existing IT systems. Monitor the system daily
  • Enterprise Business Systems Development: Participate in system upgrade activities. Perform query and reporting tasks.
  • Maintain regular and predictable attendance: Perform related duties and responsibilities as required. Comply with District policies. Complete all required training. Maintain a working knowledge and comply with District safety procedures and specific safety requirements of this position, and those in accordance with applicable provisions of the Revised Code of Washington (RCW) and Washington Administrative Code (WAC).

Qualifications
Education Equivalent experience (year for year) may substitute for required education.

  • Bachelor's Degree (B.S., B.A.) in a Computer Science field required.

Experience

  • 1 year performing IT Business System Engineering, Programming, or Administration, or related experience is preferred.

Licenses and Certifications

  • Application-specific certifications for one or more enterprise business systems in use at the District

Skills and Abilities A fully skilled incumbent will have the following knowledge skills & abilities:

  • Computer programming in 1 or more object-oriented or scripting languages.
  • Knowledge of reading and comprehending SQL code, and comfortable with SQL database structure.
  • Basic technical knowledge of computer hardware, networks, security, and support.
  • Basic knowledge of system analysis, and requirements gathering techniques for business solutions and related documentation standards.
  • Technology Design - Generating or adapting equipment and technology to serve user needs.
  • Operations Analysis - Analyzing needs and product requirements to create a design.
  • Systems Analysis - Determining how a system should work and how changes in conditions, operations, and the environment will affect outcomes.
  • Systems Evaluation - Identifying measures or indicators of system performance and the actions needed to improve or correct performance, relative to the goals of the system.
