RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has an enterprise client that is seeking a Software Dev Engineer IV in Arlington, VA.
Responsibilities:
* Software Dev Engineer IV will design, develop, implement, test, document and deliver large-scale, multi-tiered, distributed software applications, tools, systems and services using multi-threaded programming and distributed programming
* Assist in gathering and analyzing business and functional requirements, and translating requirements into technical specifications for robust, scalable, supportable solutions that work well within the overall system architecture
* As a Software Dev Engineer IV, you will own delivery of entire piece of system or application, and serve as technical lead on complex projects using best practice engineering standards
* Produce comprehensive and usable documentation
REQUIREMENTS:
* MS degree in Computer Science, Computer or Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field plus one year of experience in the job offered or related occupations of Software Engineer, Software Developer, or related
* Employer will accept Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer or Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field plus five years of progressively responsible experience in the specialty as equivalent to the Master's degree
* Expert Excel knowledge
* Python and SQL
* Experience with Tax and finance nice to have
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
