Job Details
Piper Companies is seeking an experienced Embedded Software Engineer who has experience in software development and verification with product security. The Embedded Software Engineer position will be hybrid 2 days a week onsite located in RTP, NC.
Requirements for the Embedded Software Engineer include:
- Engage in software development and provide consulting services to support digital software signing technologies
- Collaborate closely with product development teams to educate, consult, support, and debug the integration of product security technologies
- Create supporting materials and standards to guide implementation of software signing technologies
- Develop proof of concepts, reference code, and scripts to aid in the adoption and verification of technologies
- Analyze and enhance new software security technologies, identifying methods to integrate and deploy these technologies across various products and software environments
Qualifications for the Embedded Software Engineer include:
- 1+ years of experience in embedded or application software development.
- Experience in software verification and security
- Understands C development and if proficient with Python
- Highly skilled in Cryptography and PKI
- Embedded debugging and software building experience
- Familiar with Virtual machines
- Bachelor's in electrical engineering, Computer Science or related field
Compensation for the Embedded Software Engineer includes:
- Hourly rate: $30-35
