Job Details

The Employee Relations Business Partner serves as a trusted HR subject matter expert, providing hands-on employee relations support to employees and managers. This role focuses on conducting and resolving employee relations matters, investigations, policy interpretation, and compliance with employment laws. The position is highly operational and requires flexibility to support additional HR administrative duties as needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for employee relations matters, including conducting investigations and resolving workplace issues.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees and managers on HR policies, procedures, benefits, leaves, engagement, and retention.
  • Administer and interpret employment laws and regulations, including FLSA, FMLA, ADA, HIPAA, and related compliance requirements.
  • Collect, maintain, and analyze HR data related to benefits, training, turnover, and employee relations trends to support process improvement.
  • Prepare and process HR documentation and ensure accurate recordkeeping in HRIS systems.
  • Support New Employee Orientations (NEOs) onsite as required per rotating schedule.
  • Perform additional HR administrative duties as needed in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.

Required Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Minimum of 4+ years of experience in Human Resources with a strong focus on Employee Relations and ER investigations.
  • Combination of education, training, and experience that demonstrates required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Required Skills

  • Strong knowledge of HR practices and employment laws.
  • Hands-on experience conducting employee relations investigations and reviewing ER matters.
  • Familiarity with FMLA, ADA, FLSA, HIPAA, and related regulations.
  • Proficiency with Google Suite (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Drive).
  • Experience working with HRIS systems.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • HR certifications such as SPHR or similar.
  • Experience with LEAN or Six Sigma methodologies.
