About this Role:
We are looking for an experienced Backend Product Engineer with 1+ years of experience in architecting, developing, and testing full-stack solutions end-to-end. The ideal candidate is comfortable building complex software systems and has a proven track record of delivering impactful product features.
Location: On-site in San Francisco, CA
Perks - $100K - $225K
What you ll do:
- Design, develop, and test robust backend systems that power Trellis s unstructured data platform.
- Take ownership of key product features from conception to deployment, ensuring high quality and performance.
- (Bonus) Work with LLMs, RAG, workflow automation frameworks like Temporal or Puppeteer, and cloud platforms.
Requirements for this role:-
- Backend Product Engineer with 1 5 years of experience in backend product engineering.
- Experience at a top tech company or startup and building complex software systems end-to-end.
- Expertise in Python, TypeScript, or Go.
- Experience with relational and non-relational databases (Postgres, MySQL).
- Hands-on experience with LLMs, RAG, or generative AI frameworks.
- Familiarity with workflow/browser automation tools like Temporal or Puppeteer.
- Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Proactive, fast learner with a bias for action and ability to take ownership of product features.
