Systems Administrator - I
Location: Miramar or Dallas - Hybrid (3 days per week in office)
Duration: ~3 months - temp only, potential to extend

Must haves:
Enterprise Job Scheduler experience: Strong background in managing/orchestrating enterprise-level scheduling applications.
JavaScript: Ability to write statements/scripts for system functionality and reporting.
Troubleshooting & Performance: Ability to manage slow applications, system outages, and coordinate with application admins.
Cloud Application Experience: Proven experience working with vendor-hosted cloud solutions.

SAP experience is a good to have, not required
About the role: This is a Senior-level role focused 100% on the Redwood "RunMyJobs" (formerly SAP) platform. The person will manage the design, growth, and governance of the scheduler, which currently handles several thousand jobs.
Key responsibilities include:
Defining security roles, naming conventions, and auditing standards.
Coordinating quarterly updates and troubleshooting issues with the vendor.
Acting as a bridge between the vendor and internal application admins.
Note: Experience with SAP Basis is a major plus, as the tool was previously an SAP product.

Responsible for the overall performance and successful process of the Redwood RMJ solution with the objective of a centralized system that provides a unified platform for managing all scheduled jobs across SGWS applications and platforms.
Orchestrate the deployment and maintenance of the Redwood RMJ enterprise scheduling tool, which requires advanced automation solutions to achieve the high levels of availability, reliability, and productivity necessary for coordinating complex operations across diverse systems.
Design the solution to scale with the growing needs of SGWS, accommodating an increasing number of batch jobs and complex scheduling requirements as the organization expands.
Ability to understand and apply security accordingly as each application using the solution is configured in the tool.
Define Service and governance that is easy for all SGWS application owners to understand and use.
Ensure Application owners have the objective to automate the scheduling of tasks and jobs following the SGWS Standards set in place for the RMJ solution.
Work closely with SGWS application owners to understand their business requirements and objectives, including the Entire Batch Process from the different systems and applications.
Audit all applications owners are consistently following the Redwood RMJ scheduler standards in place including dependencies across all platforms/applications configured in the tool.
Provide guidance and be available to assist all Application owners.
Provide 24/7 on call Support for all Production reported incidents with the Redwood RMJ scheduler.
Schedule training sessions for all SGWS application owners as needed to enable them to effectively use the Redwood RMJ solution
