Job Details

We re looking for experienced Automation Engineers with strong hands-on expertise in Siemens PLC programming and commissioning. The assignment involves supporting automotive assembly line commissioning, working closely with onsite engineering and integration teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, modify, and troubleshoot Siemens PLC programs using TIA Portal.

  • Work with S7-1200 and S7-1500 platforms for automation logic, I/O mapping, diagnostics, and optimization.

  • Configure and develop HMI applications on WinCC Flexible / WinCC Advanced.

  • Support full cycle commissioning of automotive assembly line equipment, including stations, tools, conveyors, robots, and safety systems.

  • Perform testing, debugging, field adjustments, and final validation of automated systems.

  • Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and controls teams during integration.

  • Generate documentation including logic modifications, test reports, and commissioning checklists.

  • Ensure compliance with plant safety and automation standards.

Required Experience

  • Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in industrial automation.

  • Strong proficiency with Siemens TIA Portal, PLC programming, HMI development, and troubleshooting.

  • Experience with S7-1200, S7-1500, WinCC Flexible/WinCC Advanced.

  • Prior experience in automotive assembly line commissioning is highly preferred.

  • Strong diagnostic, field-level troubleshooting, and communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently under a 1099 contract setup in the US.
