Control-M Schedular (REMOTE)

Pay Rate - $53/hr on C2C

Role:

Looking for an experienced Control-M Scheduler with 8+ years of expertise in defining, scheduling, and monitoring automated workflows and batch jobs. The role involves managing job flows, troubleshooting issues, optimizing performance, and ensuring SLA compliance across hybrid and cloud environments. Strong technical skills in Control-M, Linux, and Windows, along with solid problem-solving abilities, are essential.

Core responsibilities:

• Design, build, and manage automated job flows and schedules, defining job dependencies and post-processing actions.
• Oversee the execution of jobs, using the Control-M interface to monitor progress and confirm successful completion.
• Resolve job failures and performance issues, providing both first and second/third-level support for the Control-M platform.
• Analyze and improve workflow performance, reduce manual tasks, and ensure the timely processing of critical business
• tasks.
• Perform routine maintenance, such as managing job calendars and handling system upgrades and changes.

Key skills and qualifications:

• Extensive experience with Control-M, as well as proficiency with operating systems such as Linux and Windows. Experience with specific platforms like IBM z/OS is often required.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve complex issues.
• Ability to work with stakeholders to gather requirements and explain technical issues.
• Knowledge of workflow automation principles and best practices
