Job Details

Leading provider of TPA services in South Jersey is seeking an enthusiastic EDI Specialist to
join our IT Team. As a team member reporting directly to the IT Manager, your primary focus will be to build and maintain electronic data interchange systems in support of our business relationships with vendors and customers, with a supporting role in other projects as needed. We are looking for a creative individual who enjoys tackling unique challenges.

Understand the needs of the business and create or modify data integrations in order to satisfy those
requirements.
Analyze/define data requirements of clients and interchange partners.
Monitor, investigate, and resolve any system errors with new and existing interchanges.
Maintain documentation and mapping for existing data interchanges.
Solicit feedback from users and partners in order to promote accuracy and efficiency.
Work with internal IT team to ensure smooth operation and integration between internal and external systems.
Collaborate with internal staff on the development of new or modified systems.

Education/Experience:
Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; or equivalent work experience in place of degree.
At least 2 years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL required.
Knowledge and understanding of X12 and HL7 EDI standards highly preferred.
Experience with Visual Studio, Access, Help Systems, SSRS and SSIS preferred.
Experience with XML, .NET, JSON is a plus.
Experience working in healthcare, insurance, or related field is preferred.
