Join our team as an IT Implementation Engineer and play a key role in modernizing enterprise telecommunications. You'll be part of a dedicated project team responsible for analyzing legacy voice services-such as POTS, fax, and alarm communications-and driving their migration to modern, standardized solutions or decommissioning them entirely.

What You'll Do
As an IT Implementation Engineer, you'll lead site-level execution across multiple concurrent projects, ensuring seamless transitions with minimal disruption to operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and assess telecommunications and alarm service needs across multiple locations by working with branch associates and internal stakeholders.
- Identify and migrate legacy services (POTS, fax, alarm communications) to standardized solutions or coordinate full decommissioning where appropriate.
- Manage multiple sites simultaneously, often handling 20-30+ locations at various project phases (analysis, ordering, installation, porting, testing, disconnects).
- Order and coordinate implementations for:
- POTS-in-a-Box solutions for alarm systems
- AT&T BVoIP, ReadyLine, and IPTF for voice services
- Enterprise e-fax solutions for legacy fax lines
- Coordinate with vendors and local branches to ensure timely installations, smooth cutovers, and resolution of post-install issues.
- Ensure standards-based execution, validating configurations, testing services, and coordinating technical readiness.
- Maintain accurate documentation and tracking in enterprise tools such as Planner, Lists, Projects, and SharePoint.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, project management, security, facilities, and response teams to avoid operational disruption.
- Participate in team meetings and communicate risks, issues, and progress to leadership.

Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in voice telecommunications
- Experience analyzing and implementing telecom services
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects or sites
- Familiarity with security and fire alarm systems and/or applicable regulations
- Experience in enterprise-scale project coordination
- Hands-on experience with requirements gathering and validation
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools (Teams, Outlook, Excel, SharePoint, Planner, Lists)
- Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
- Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems, analyze data across multiple sources, and identify critical details
- Ability to learn independently and apply skills in new or unfamiliar technical areas
- Willingness to identify knowledge gaps and proactively seek guidance
- Experience with:
- AT&T BVoIP, ReadyLine, IPTF
- EtherFAX or enterprise e-fax platforms
- POTS-in-a-Box solutions
- Familiarity with AT&T porting processes
- Exposure to multiple telecom technologies from an engineering or coordination standpoint
- Experience with alarm communication paths (POTS, radio, cellular)
- Knowledge of alarm monitoring vendors and terminology
- Familiarity with:
- Zendesk
- Telecom Expense Management (TEM) platforms
- MetTel Bruin
- ServiceChannel or similar facilities platforms
- Ability to succeed in a remote work environment
- Professional presence and confidence working with all levels of the organization and external partners
- This role is telecommunications-focused, with an emphasis on voice services. It does not include responsibilities related to wireless or data routing technologies.
- While similar to a project management role, PMP certification is not required.
- You'll be expected to work independently and exercise discretion within established procedures.
