Infrastructure Transformation Architect

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Has an ability to gather application functionality and non-functional requirement understand it and convert them into the overall IT infrastructure designs and implementation solutions for client's Business services

Has experience in DC transformation projects , which involved environment analysis, right sizing for future, designed and implemented on public and On prem cloud. Post implementation migration of Virtual and physical infra from as-is environment to newly build infrastructure on public/ Private cloud.

  • Hands on experience in Cloud Build projects, Cloud Migration/Transformation,
  • Ability to understand business requirements and transform it into a robust and efficient solution at optimized efforts and within budgeted costs
  • Evaluate technology, market trends and industry, identify prospective impact on business
  • Experience in building solution around Nutanix, HyperV based on on-premise hyperconverged infrastructure
  • Craft the Infrastructure migration strategies, principles, and high-level design document.
  • Develop processes and templates that are innovative without being stifling and restrictive.
  • Review and Stitch infrastructure low level design documents which includes compute, storage and backup, Database, networks and security
  • Develop implementation plan for infrastructure architecture on basis of IT strategies and business requirements
  • Evaluate and recommend infrastructure solutions to best meet the seamless migration need of the business services.
  • Assure that the most appropriate IT practices measures are in place.
  • Strong technical knowledge and hands on experience on virtualization technologies like
    • VMware Infrastructure 4.x/5.x/6.x, VMware SRM, VMware Realize, VMware Licensing
    • Hyper-V 2008R2/2012R2, System Center Virtual Machine Manager, Microsoft Licensing
    • Oracle Virtualization (OVM)
    • Red Hat Virtualization
  • Strong technical knowledge and hands on experience on Microsoft technologies like
    • Windows server 2008/2008R2/2012/..2022 and Licensing
    • Active Directory Services
    • Federation Services
    • Failover Clustering Services
    • Microsoft Exchange
  • Strong technical knowledge and hands on experience on Unix Operating environment like
    • Oracle Solaris
    • HP-UX
    • IBM AIX
    • Linux (RHEL, OEL, Ubuntu etc)
    • Oracle Engineered System
  • Technical knowledge on AD/LDAP/NTP/SMTP services with upgradation, Migration
  • Strong technical knowledge on Server, compute, storage and backup technologies like HP, Oracle, Cisco, DELL Blade server technologies, Virtual Connect technologies, etc.
  • VMware VCF , NSX , Aria , Infoblox , Tenium , Chef , HP & Dell hardware
  • Good understanding of cloud technologies and its integration.
  • Good Communication skills.
