Wi-Fi Traveling Support Technician
In this role, you will be part of a network standardization initiative across the country.
Responsibilities:
Wi-Fi Coordination
- Support Wi-Fi upgrades and cutovers across multiple sites.
- Weekend coordination may be required if plant schedules conflict.
- Collaborate with local cabling vendors (electricians or low-voltage techs); default to site-preferred vendors, with NDI as backup.
- Work can be done remotely via VPN or on-site.
- Wireless work involves coordination-leveraging predictive analysis and floor plans provided by the company.
Closet Cleanup
- Partner with cabling vendors to clean up network closets.
- Understand and implement network standards.
- Scan networks before and after cleanup to ensure functionality.
- Collaborate with Plant Engineers for switch management and redesign.
- May involve weekend work and travel; safety gear required for high-voltage areas.

Requirements
- Hands-on experience with Wi-Fi technologies and equipment.
- Strong troubleshooting abilities (not architecture or engineering).
- Solid communication skills to summarize work and report progress.
- Able to manage long weekend shifts (12+ hours), with basic testing on Sundays.
