Job Title: Sr Project Manager
Location: St. Paul, MN -(Hybrid)
Duration: 7- Months - approx.
Minimum Qualifications
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or GED and nine (9) years of experience managing multiple IT and business projects.
Degree Substitution:
- Associate s Degree = 2 years of experience
- Bachelor s Degree (or higher) = 4 years of experience
- Accepted Majors: Computer Science, Business Management, or Project Management
Additional Requirements:
Two (2) or more years in a lead role requiring collaboration across multiple divisions and stakeholders at various organizational levels.
Certifications:
PMP or PgMP
CSM or SAFe
Technical Proficiency:
- 2 years experience with Microsoft Project
- year experience with Azure DevOps
- year experience with Jira
- 1 year experience with GitHub
Desired Qualifications
Certifications
- CompTIA Security+
- Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
- Palo Alto Networks PCNSE or CISSP
- Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900)
Skills & Experience
- Experience with Project Portfolio Management (PPM) tools
- Cybersecurity: CISSP, CISM
- Networking: CCNA, CCNP
- Infrastructure & Cloud: ITIL, Azure, AWS
Desired Skills and Experience
- Proven experience leading and managing complex IT and business projects through all phases initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout.
- Strong background in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies, including hybrid project management approaches.
- Skilled in collaboration with cross-functional teams, including business, technical, and vendor stakeholders.
- Prior experience with state, local, or regional government agencies preferred.
- Experience managing enterprise modernization or transformation initiatives, especially in regulated or public sector environments.
- Demonstrated success in risk and issue management, including mitigation and timely resolution.
- Proficient in project budgeting and resource planning, with a track record of on-time, within-budget delivery.
- Familiarity with organizational change management and adoption of new technologies or processes.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of engaging senior leadership.
- Experience supporting process improvement initiatives within PMO or enterprise environments.
- Proven ability to lead change initiatives and resolve conflicts in cross-functional settings.
- Experience mentoring or coaching project teams to enhance delivery and PMO maturity.
Compensation
Compensation for roles at Beacon Systems Inc depending on a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by applicable law, BeaconGov provides reasonable range of compensation for this role.
