Job Description

The position reports to the Director of ERP Supply Chain and is part of a team of Oracle Cloud subject matter experts supporting Supply Chain operations. This role provides functional expertise to identify and evaluate business requirements, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. The role also involves assisting with knowledge transfer activities for end users, delivering optimal solutions for internal Supply Chain customers, identifying process improvement opportunities, troubleshooting issues, and providing user training and support. Additional duties may be assigned as necessary. This role is pivotal to enhancing the effectiveness of Supply Chain processes and ensuring the successful utilization of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure within the organization.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Serve as a functional expert, guiding the team on best practices for configuring and setting up the Oracle Cloud Supply Chain system. Support teams in making strategic configuration decisions.
  • Develop functional specifications for interfaces, data conversions, and configurations to the product, while participating in all testing phases and ensuring timely resolution of issues.
  • Understand and document the flow of information across the Supply Chain applications, ensuring seamless integration and functionality.
  • Research, document, and troubleshoot reported issues, providing clear and concise documentation on system designs, process flows, and resolutions.
  • Assist in the design and development training materials and sessions for Oracle Cloud Supply Chain functionality to enhance user adoption and proficiency.
  • Develop and modify Oracle Cloud reports and queries to meet evolving business needs. Ensure effective collaboration and communication with stakeholders to deliver actionable insights.
  • Exhibit strong problem-solving skills to prioritize, resolve, or escalate issues promptly and effectively.
  • Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to deliver innovative, efficient, and practical solutions that align with business objectives.
  • Manage multiple assignments efficiently, demonstrating independence and minimal need for supervision in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong functional understanding of Oracle Cloud Supply Chain systems and related best practices.

  • Experience in system documentation, including creating clear and concise materials for designs, process flows, and troubleshooting.
  • Willingness to travel to multiple locations across New York City to support operations and end-user needs.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills to identify issues, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions efficiently.
  • Professional demeanor, including punctuality, reliability, and a commitment to maintaining a positive and respectful workplace presence.
  • Significant experience as an Oracle Cloud ERP (Supply Chain) functional analyst and/or super user, with in-depth knowledge of supply chain workflows and system functionality.


Minimum Qualifications
1. A Baccalaureate Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, applied Mathematics, Business Administration, Economics/Statistics, Telecommunications, Data Communications, or a related field of study; and
2. Five (5) years of progressive, responsible experience in the field of data processing, computer systems and applications.
Operations Specialty requires supervisory experience (5 years).
Network Services requires a telecommunications background and experience.
3. Broad knowledge and expertise in the characteristics of computers, peripheral devices, communications systems and hardware capabilities, programming languages, E.D.P. applications, systems analysis methodology, data management and retrieval techniques; or
4. A satisfactory equivalent combination of training, education and experience.
