Core Java Developer

Location: Charlotte, NC

Compensation
Pay Range:$45.08-$64.40/Hrs

Description
Responsible for designing and implementing functionalities in business compliance and supervisory areas.
Engage with modern open-source technologies in distributed real-time compute and data space.
Act as a hands-on developer within a data and analytics group.
Leverage data to support diverse firm-wide users including execution service consultants, sales traders, data scientists, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
Understand business requirements and data flow.
Design and develop business features according to requirements.
Implement functionalities in a distributed, high-volume, multi-threaded event processing platform using core technologies.

Qualifications
Strong experience in core development.
Excellent understanding of object-oriented design and development principles.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or similar field required.
Strong analytical skills.
Team player with excellent interpersonal skills and integrity.
Experience in developing multithreaded, large-scale, fault-tolerant systems is a plus.
Experience in the financial industry is a plus.
