Are you a quality expert who loves solving "puzzles" and ensuring peak performance? We are looking for a lead personnel to drive quality excellence for OE customers and licensed accessories in the automotive sector.


The Mission


You'll be the primary point of contact for identifying and resolving quality concerns, managing everything from initial product planning to onsite supplier evaluations.

responsibilities:

  • Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP)
  • Phases PPAP documentations and IMDS rejects and approvals
  • Works in tandem with Engineering and Purchasing for successful program launch
  • Enters data, approvals, and requests in CMMS3
  • Supports disposition of all FCS, customer, and supplier quality issues and concerns
  • Contacts FCS suppliers and customers when quality concerns are communicated
  • Logs and tracks incoming concerns and issues
  • Customer location onsite visits for quality concern identification and disposition
  • Reviews FLA supplier Quality evaluation by conducting onsite visits to potential supplier location to review, document, and report supplier adherence to FCS quality requirement
  • Reviews warranty data supplied by FCS India Quality Team
    • Warranty claims based on the Warranty Policy and Procedures
    • Ensures Warranty Process meets audit requirements
  • Maintains documentation of plan tests and results
  • Administrative and other support to the Quality Department
  • Other duties may be assigned




qualifications:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE


To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.


Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university required; or five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.


Ability to access and understand Materials Requirement Planning, (CMMS3, GSAR, WIPS, BAAN, SAP, AIMS, WERS, IMS6/IMS7.


Knowledge of the current ISO/TS-16949 standards.


Knowledge of Quality Control procedures, requirements, elements, and fundamentals.


Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma principles (Lean Six Sigma Green and/or Black Belt preferred)
