Job Title: SAP EWM Functional Consultant

Experience Required

8+ years of SAP EWM implementation, rollout, and production support experience



Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead and support end-to-end SAP EWM implementations, rollouts, and hypercare support across global warehouses.

  • Design, customize, and configure SAP EWM functionalities to meet complex business and warehouse requirements.

  • Possess strong hands-on experience with SAP EWM integration with SAP MM, SD, and PP modules.

  • Support Planning to Procurement and Schedule to Deliver business processes within SAP EWM.

  • Configure and manage SAP EWM organizational elements, including:

    • Warehouse structure

    • Storage types, sections, bins

    • Activity areas and work centers

    • EWM master data and structural elements

  • Demonstrate expert-level knowledge of:

    • Warehouse Monitor (/SCWM/MON)

    • RF Framework

    • Goods Receipt (GR) & Goods Issue (GI)

    • Physical Inventory Processing

    • Process-Oriented & Layout-Oriented Storage Control (POSC/LOSC)

    • Production Supply

    • Slotting & Rearrangement

  • Configure and support advanced EWM processes including:

    • Replenishment strategies

    • Wave management for deliveries

    • Cross-docking

  • Perform detailed business process analysis, identify gaps, and propose optimized SAP EWM solutions.

  • Translate business requirements into functional specifications (FS) and collaborate closely with ABAP developers for custom developments.

  • Design, execute, and support unit testing, integration testing, UAT, and resolve defects during implementation.

  • Provide end-user training, create user manuals, and support users during Go-Live and Hypercare phases.

  • Act as a key point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring smooth communication between business, technical teams, and vendors.




Good-to-Have Skills

  • Direct customer interaction for requirement gathering and solution design.

  • Experience handling RICEF objects, including custom reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, and workflows.

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to handle complex warehouse scenarios.
