Platform Engineer/Middleware admin Job Description:
- 6+ years of working experience in Rancher Kubernetes
- Working knowledge of Google Cloud Platform Cloud offering.
- Ability to collaborate and coordinate with executive management and Enterprise Architecture teams
- Experience with Kubernetes / Rancher
- Experience with Automation / Scripting
- Unix scripting
- Terraform
- Windows scripting PowerShell / VBScript
- Experience with middleware technologies
- Knowledge of and experience using GitHub
- Strong understanding of virtualization concepts and technologies
- Ability to take full ownership of assigned projects.
- Self-starter and ability to work issues till resolution.
- Flexible and able to adapt to a rapidly changing environment
- Support security policies to ensure integrity of platforms
- Strong General Qualifications: Excellent organization, oral and written communications skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and experience working in a large team.
