Responsibilities
- Serves as a primary technical liaison to end users for new requirements and issues related to applications.
- Provides direction on application architecture and serves as the internal consultant for related initiatives.
- Supports standardization of documentation and the integration of best practices across IT solutions.
- Maintains knowledge of new developments and research related to application packages and healthcare IT trends.
- Evaluates and coordinates testing of IT updates and revisions to ensure minimal business disruption.
- Oversees efforts with key vendors to understand future application product plans in conjunction with IT leadership.
- Oversees complex configuration of applications based on user and vendor requirements on major application environments.
- Works closely with managers, project managers and business partner leaders to define and develop or implement software applications.
- Works with IT staff, business partners and leadership to help them understand potential application functionality, development approaches, possible enhancements and process improvements.
- Provides advanced level application technical support to resolve problems.
- Works with enterprise architecture teams to integrate application architecture into enterprise architecture.
- Contributes to the growth and development of application IT staff through education activities in support of the software application.
- Collaborates with application analysts and IT Departments to plan and implement new modules, maintenance, releases, and issue resolution.
- Follows the software development lifecycle (SDLC) to build and enhance applications.
- Familiar with Google Workspace to include Google Admin and Google APIs.
- Additional tasks/responsibilities as defined.
- May require on-call coverage responsibilities.
- Remote eligible.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent knowledge and skills obtained through a combination of education, training, and experience in an IT Healthcare environment.
- 4-5 years required
- 1 or more relevant technical/professional security certifications preferred.
- Excellent communication skills. Knowledge of system and application development and best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: 3 years' experience in Programming languages and a mastery of one (Java, node.js, C#, JavaScript, React,
Swift, AppsScript)
