RF Design Engineer with IBWave

This role is located at Basking Ridge, NJ (Hybrid Onsite)

Also open to Ashburn, VA location

Must Have: IBWave Certification or practical experience with IBWave

Description:

• You will be part of the National In-building PMO RF Design team interfacing with submarket teams, enterprise sales teams and senior leadership teams.
• You will help build the foundation that keeps Verizon in front of the competition.
• You will be designing, managing the implementation of enterprise in-building projects and distributed antenna systems. These projects require interaction at the Director/VP level and development of Executive dashboards and presentations.

MUST HAVE SKILLS (Most Important):-

• IBWave Certification and practical experience with iBwave
• Extensive knowledge of FCC Emissions and RF Safety guidelines
• Proficient on RF/Regulatory and PM Software: Atoll, Fuze/Siterra, Roofmaster/Roofview
• Expert in office computer applications: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access.
• RF System Optimization techniques for voice and data for Nortel, Motorola, and/or Nokia infrastructure
• Should have a good understanding of engineering concepts, and must show aptitude and desire to learn and advance in a technical field.
• This individual needs to be experienced in RF Design for Indoor Systems.
• Experience with RAN and DAS OEM systems required
• Expertise with prediction and Mapping tools (Atoll, iBwave, MapInfo, Windcatcher)
• An in-depth understanding of the various aspects of the RF Engineering elements that affect the decisions they are making or recommending

JOB DUTIES:-

• Support the National InBuilding team in reviewing InBuilding designs (in iBwave format) and completing the required RF paperwork per project.
• Filing 911 and regulatory paperwork for all projects assigned to you
• Team up with experienced RF Design engineers to manage projects throughout the country

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS:-

• BS in Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent work experience in the cellular or telecommunications industry-
• 2 to 3 years of experience in RF Design
